This was our first time staying in this lovely, quaint little cottage and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the place is so cozy and cute! I just loved everything about it, the wildlife bedding was just adorable ❤..All the little extras are a great touch, a nice welcome basket which my daughter enjoyed! and we appreciated the fresh pint of milk in the fridge, dog treats went down well with our dog lily also.

The location is brilliant with everything you need in walkable distance. We also met Emma and jon on our last day who was a lovely friendly couple and great hosts.

We can not fault this little place, and will definitely stay here again.
Thankyou Emma and jon for allowing to stay in your lovely little cottage

Exceptional - This cottage is a total delight. It's immaculately clean , very cosy and great location. A lovely small enclosed courtyard type garden. I can't give it enough praise.
Emma was so helpful with everything I enquired about. The natives are very friendly
Just 2 miles down the road is the most wonderful beach, assessable, clean and has a lovely cafe ( so charming).
We so wanted to stay longer but sadly it was unavailable......we have rebooked for later this year.

Lovely cottage - cosy, clean, spacious and dog friendly. Emma and Jon’s leave you to it and provided all info we could have needed including leaflets with activities/things to do in local area. The cottage had everything we needed for our stay, and is in a convenient location to explore North Yorkshire. Neighbour and locals were welcoming. We wish we’d been able to stay longer and would love to visit again!

Lorraine

The cottage was well situated in a village with local shops, pubs and takeaways all within walking distance and yet only a few miles from the coast .
The cottage was well furnished and equipped to a high standard and was spotlessly clean. It was also great to have carpet in the lounge, stairs and the main bedroom which made the cottage very cosy .
It very much felt like home from home with lots of personal touch. Fabulous stay at the cottage and would definitely stay again if I was in the area.
Communication excellent

Convenient location, good local facilities, quite road. Homely and cosy accommodation

The location! The village is lovely,we visited Filey,Scarborough and Bridlington on the bus instead of driving to enjoy the scenery.
The cottage is clean and had everything we needed, the extra treats including eggs and milk were appreciated😊the Shower is nice, towels were provided which saves packing them.
We didn’t use it but there’s also a little loft room with Xbox/games etc in, I imagine this is great for families traveling with children.

I would stay again if in the area and would definitely recommend.

Catherine

Perfect find for our planned visit to Flamborough. First place I have stopped where I felt our dog was as welcome as we were with such lovely touches . Emma’s communication was excellent .

Cottage is so quaint with a lovely friendly neighbour in a very friendly village . Excellant facilities in village and great proximity to beach (5 mins by car to beach)

Sheridan
Great little cottage, fantastic location the village has everything that you need including a butcher selling fab stuff for a BBQ on the patio

John
Mena cottage is a fantastic option for anyone looking to make a trip over to the east coast and visit Filey or Hunmanby. We loved our stay. The cottage was great with plenty of space for the 2 of us and our dog.

Very clean and well presented throughout. We especially liked the addition of bowls, bed and towels for our pootch. The cottage has everything that you need for a stay away and is close by to some fantastic pubs and places to eat in Hunmanby. Lots of options to explore close by and not too far away from the stunning beach at Hunmanby Gap. All in all definately recommended.

Bek
We booked the cottage for our inlaws after not seeing them for 8 months due to covid. Perfectly timed with our little boys birthday, they had the best stay. The cottage is clean, cosy and has everything you would need. Such attention to detail with a welcome note, basket with treats and eggs/milk/tea/coffee etc in the kitchen too.

Mena is a short walk from amenities and a short drive from the beach. The cottage is dog friendly BUT doesn't smell of dogs which is preferable if you don't have pets. But little touches like dog bowls and biscuits mean its ideal for those that do. The attic games room is the perfect den for kids (and adults) with games and a tv.

Shaun

Lovey little cottage in a quiet village location but near enough to services to walk everywhere. All the facilities we required plus a sunny garden and only a couple of miles from some lovely beaches.

The cottage was just what we needed for.a short break. Communication with Emma was immediate and useful. Would definitely stay again.

Christopher
Outstanding! Impeccable cleanliness, timely considerations and thoughtful details all contributed to our stay being very pleasant. We liked the watercolours, a genuine ticking clock and we admired the skilful preservation of original features.

Our dog settled immediately and we enjoyed the woodland walk at nearby Hunmanby Hall.

Vicki
We really enjoyed our stay and it was especially great for people like us who choose not to travel by car - with a nearby bus stop and easy walking to hotspots like Hunmanby Gap.

We loved the history of the cottage which is in a quiet corner of the village - and the outside dining - and our dog felt equally at home!

Kerry
We had a fabulous stay, the cottage is a perfect space for a family of 4 and the dogs. There is lots to do in the area.
